Henry A. Montero, MS, LMHC

Henry A. Montero is a member of the Psycom editorial advisory board and a board certified Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), credentialed by Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS) in alcohol, substance abuse, tobacco dependence, and anger management. A graduate of Manhattan College School of Counseling and Monroe College (Cum Laude), he also holds a fellowship from the Global Foundation for Democracy and Development (GFDD) where he is researching cognitive behavioral therapy treatment for Parkinson’s Disease psychosis. A PhD candidate in psychology, Henry is also the managing director of Alquimedez Mental Health Counseling and the director of behavioral health and care management for CCN General Medical in New York City. He has spoken about a variety of mental health subjects at the United Nations and has published mental health clinical and research information globally.
