Michelle Stacey is an award-winning journalist, author, and editor who has written for The New Yorker, Harper’s, The New York Times Magazine, Prevention, Elle, Self, Gourmet, Martha Stewart Living, and others. Much of her work focuses on health, psychology, food and culture, diet and nutrition, and science. As a magazine editor, Michelle is a veteran of Women’s Health, Shape, Cosmopolitan, Mademoiselle, Savvy, and Outside. She is the author of two books: Consumed: Why Americans Love, Hate, and Fear Food (Simon & Schuster) and The Fasting Girl: A True Victorian Medical Mystery (Tarcher/Putnam), and an editor-in-chief of bookazines on health and wellness topics. Michelle lives in New York’s Hudson Valley.
